General sales open
Mark your calendars as our turkeys sell out very fast! An email reminder will be sent out and instructions on how to reserve a turkey will be posted the morning sales open.

Choose from two weight ranges. Maximum of two birds per purchaser.

A $40 deposit reserves one turkey of any breed/weight. At pick-up, your bird will be weighed and you will be charged the balance.


Under 20 lbs. or 20+ lbs.

Because our birds are raised outdoors, variations in size are natural. We take orders for birds in weight range rather than for an exact weight. While we cannot guarantee that your bird will be a specific weight, we’ll do our best to accommodate your preference.

Turkeys will be available for pick up at Stone Barns Center on Tuesday, November 21, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm. All turkeys will be fresh, not frozen.


  • Known for their larger size and greater breast width, this fast-growing hybrid is one of the dominant birds on the market and the turkey with which most Americans are familiar. (Over 99% of the turkeys consumed in the United States are Broad Breasted breeds.)
  • Stone Barns Broad Breasted Bronze turkeys are not the same as those raised on factory farms and destined for the supermarket. Here, they roam the pastures and eat a diverse diet of fresh grass, grains, seeds, insects,   and worms, as well as 100% organic feed.
  • Harvested at about 14-16 weeks of age, Broad Breasted breeds typically weigh 16 to 24 pounds.
