Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture works to increase public awareness of healthy, seasonal and sustainable food; train new farmers in resilient, restorative farming techniques; and educate children about the sources of their food.
With your support, we can bring more nutritious and delicious food to the kitchen table, encourage farmers who are committed to improving our health and protecting our environment, and make positive change in our food system.
Your support helps Stone Barns train young farmers to improve the way America eats and farms:
$25 will help provide curriculum materials to a farmer-in-training.
$50 will help teach a beginning farmer about seed-saving and seed-breeding.
$100 will help train a young farmer in humane livestock production.
$500 will provide a full scholarship for a beginning farmer to attend the National Young Farmers Conference, an annual learning event at Stone Barns for the most promising new food producers.
As a special thanks for your gift, you will receive the exclusive Food & Wine/Chefs Make Change recipe booklet by email. Thank you for helping to make change!
