Registration for 2008-2009 School Programs will begin on Monday, April 14.
Our K-12 school programs are up and running. All programs include a farm visit and an experiential activity to engage students in learning about the importance of ecological, community-based farming. Programs are linked to the New York State Learning Standards. We also offer customized programs for college groups. We are open for school groups Monday through Friday.
For the safety of our visiting children and to maximize farm production, we require that all school groups pre-register for programs led by Stone Barns staff. To schedule a school program, please download the School Programs brochure and complete the application. For additional information, please contact Judy Fink, Education Programs Director at 914 366 6200 x113. You can view the programs by clicking below.

Session 2: Thursdays, 5/1 - 5/22: 1:45 PM - 2:45 PM
The Little Farmers Program is designed to involve parents and their children, ages 2½ to 3½, in exploring the farm, discovering the joy of being outdoors, and connecting to the wonder of nature in our lives. Each of the four classes will focus on a different farm theme, and will include hands-on activities and visits to the animals and gardens to learn about livestock care and growing our own food. Using stories, songs, crafts and games we’ll foster our sense of wonder and learn about the farm right in our backyard.
