Bill King

Bill King is a private investor and also owns Back 40 Farm, Kitchen and Mercantile, which includes a restaurant, store and organic vegetable Farm in Washington, Connecticut that he runs with his family and a farm manager he hired from the Stone Barns Apprentice Program. Bill is former chief investment officer and head of asset management for Carrington Capital Management, LLC, an alternative asset management firm. Before joining Carrington, Bill was head of Securitized Products at Citadel LLC, and prior to that was co-head of Global Securitized Products at JP Morgan. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors at Stone Barns Center, Bill co-founded the Old Greenwich Farmer’s Market and sits on the Council of Trinity Church. Bill has a variety of investments in the organic food space including Greenwich based Green & Tonic. He holds a BS in Finance from Syracuse University and an MBA from New York University.
