Long before chefs conceive a dish, and even before farmers plant their fields, plant breeders write the recipe for our ingredients: what they look like, what they taste like, how they perform in the field and the marketplace. Join chefs, growers and breeding experts at the table for a conversation spanning seed, field and kitchen. The panel will discuss new models for engagement seeking to develop delicious ingredients to meet the challenges of the future and will share vegetable varieties inspired by these conversations.
