Campesino a Campesino: Scaling Out Agroecological Practices in Canada and Puerto Rico

In this workshop, participants will learn from farmers from Puerto Rico and Canada about their experiences with the farmer-to-farmer methodology—a horizontal, farmer-led process of disseminating agroecological practices to other farmers in their respective regions. This workshop will be led by members of La Via Campesina International and will lead into a second workshop on the People’s Agroecology Process, a coordinated action among different communities to disseminate agroecological practices and at the same time build power among food producers and consumers to achieve food sovereignty.
