Raising Ducks & Geese For Market: Poultry School

This workshop from Poultry School 2017, featuring Québécoise goose and duck farmer Fernande Ouellet, will discuss how waterfowl can fit into a farm, how ducks and geese are similar and different, and how to care for both. Fernande will walk through her own operation, raising geese and ducks for meat and alternative foie gras, covering practical aspects from the brooder to the pasture.
