Lauren Honican is deputy chief of staff at Stone Barns Center. In this role, she collaborates closely with and provides high-level support to the organization’s leadership, including the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and executive staff. Day to day, she coordinates the execution of strategic initiatives across teams, organizes the annual Entrepreneurship Intensive for Farmers program, and helps connects all the dots within the Stone Barns web.
Before joining Stone Barns, she served as Food Service Director and Farm to School Coordinator at Vermont’s Cornwall Elementary School, where she focused on serving nutritious meals prepared with ingredients grown and raised by local producers. Her commitment to building resilient food systems stems from a dedication to environmental stewardship and love of community. She holds a B.A. in Neuroscience from Middlebury College.
