Laurie Freyer is programs manager at Stone Barns Center. Her major in environmental studies at McGill University and involvement in local foodsheds kindled her drive to support sustainable food systems. Laurie earned a master’s degree in food studies at NYU and then went on to work as content specialist for the American Museum of Natural History’s Our Global Kitchen exhibition. Prior to working at Stone Barns Center, Laurie was operations and communications coordinator at Edible Schoolyard NYC.
At Stone Barns Center, Laurie oversees planning, organizing and logistics for beginning farmer education and provides support for public programs.
