Leadership

Lisa Zimmerman

Lisa Zimmerman is director of operations at Stone Barns Center. Her passion for the Center’s work evolved from her interest in healthy eating, concern for the environment, a love of cooking and gardening passed down from her parents, and the inspiration that surrounds her at work. Lisa received a B.S. in accounting from Lehigh University, began her career in public accounting and became a CPA. She later received an M.B.A. from Duke University and worked in the magazine-publishing industry, holding roles in finance and production at Time Inc. and American Express Publishing.

At Stone Barns Center, Lisa is responsible for finance, insurance, human resources, facilities and information technology.

On the side: Lisa lives locally with her husband and son and enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, hockey and walking her lab in the Rockefeller State Park Preserve.
