Mike Shallo

Michael Shallo is director of facilities at Stone Barns Center. Mike holds an M.E. in chemical engineering from Manhattan College. After spending the first 25 years of his career in various industrial positions, he moved into facilities management at several medical institutions, including hospitals and most recently for a medical college. Mike found his way to Stone Barns while seeking out unique challenges in a new industry where he could apply his expertise to make a difference.

At Stone Barns Center, Mike and his team manage the day-to-day operations, maintenance and special projects. He works closely with the Stone Barns Center and Blue Hill teams to ensure the campus contributes to the realization of the Center’s mission.

On the side: Mike is an avid home gardener and enjoys home projects and travel.
