Private Group Tour Options

Option 1: Insider’s Tour
Get an intimate, behind-the-scenes view of the farm with a 90-minute, in-depth tour.  Learn about the Center’s methods of raising livestock and growing vegetables sustainably. Walk through the greenhouse and grazing pastures. Understand more fully what sustainable and agroecological farming means, and why we believe that good food, grown well, can change our food system. Tour content changes with each season, as does life on the farm.

The Insider’s Tour cost is $250 for groups of up to 10 people and $25 per guest for groups of 11 to 40 people.

Option 2: Dig In Tour
A 90-minute experience on the farm, which includes an in-depth guided tour and a hands-on farm activity led by one of our farmers. Seasonally relevant explorations of our vegetable growing areas and our livestock habitats will help participants to get closer to the sources of their food. A fall visit might include a harvesting activity in the field, or a seed saving activity with one of the Stone Barns farmers. Spring offers a chance to learn about life cycles with a spring planting activity. Content changes with each season, as does life on the farm. This tour option is an enjoyable and informative way to get participants outside and get their hands (a little) dirty.

The Dig In Tour cost is $400 for groups of up to 10 people and $40/person for groups of 11 to 40 people.

Group Tour & Lunch
In addition to a Tour, your Group can join us for an hour-length casual lunch in a Stone Barns Center event space catered by the Blue Hill Café and Grain Bar. The buffet lunch includes open-faced sandwiches, frittatas, mixed green salad, grain and vegetable salads, seasonal soup, assorted bread baked on the premises, water and iced tea and cookies or brownies for dessert. Buffet choices will accommodate vegetarian and gluten-free diets.

Cost for hour-length buffet lunch: $40 per guest plus tax (unless tax exempt). This charge covers all fees, including but not limited to, food, set-up and staffing.
