Jack Towers

Seasonal Crops Farmer

Jack Towers is a Seasonal Crops Farmer at Stone Barns Center. His love for good food stems from his upbringing. Jack’s parents owned a restaurant in Boston and he grew up in New England with homemade meals and weekends in the garden growing fruits and vegetables for the table.

Jack’s love for home cooking led him to work in kitchens and study at Le Cordon Bleu. While at Harvard University, Jack researched sustainable agricultural practices for his thesis. He is dedicated to improving the sustainability of food systems from the soil to the plate and is eager to learn at Stone Barns Center.

Off the farm: Jack loves to climb rocks, cook vegan meals with local produce, and identify wildlife in his local area.
