  • From May through October, we charge $20 admission per vehicle on weekends. Parking is always free from Wednesday to Friday. All purchases may be made at the Gatehouse using Apple Pay, credit, or debit. We are not able to accept cash at this time.

    All advance reservations for campus programs include a complimentary parking pass. Stone Barns Members may always park for free.

  • Come visit our campus! Visitors are welcome to explore our grounds, meet our farmers and chefs, visit our Orientation Center, and shop in our Cafeteria Market–no reservation required.

    Advance tickets are required for all campus programs and dining experiences aside from breakfast in the Cafeteria. Tickets include complimentary parking for the day. View upcoming events on our calendar.

  • Stone Barns’ campus is located thirty miles north of New York City in the lower Hudson Valley region. Just 10 minutes from Tarrytown, you can either take the Metro North and call a taxi or rideshare, or you can make the scenic drive.

    Visitors are welcome to bike to the Center, but bike riding is not permitted on the grounds of Stone Barns Center or on the Rockefeller State Park Preserve trails. Please leave and lock your bike at the rack by the gatehouse entrance.

  • Parking is located in the Hardwood and Orchard Lots behind the Blue Hill restaurant. Follow campus signs or ask our weekend gatehouse attendants for directions.

  • Stone Barns Center is a working farm. For your and everyone’s safety, please:

    • Stay on the trails at all times.

    • Observe livestock from a safe distance and do not approach their enclosures.

    • Do not touch electrified fencing.

    • Do not step on or harvest any crops.

    • Stay alert to farming activity and yield to farm vehicles. 

    • Do not touch farm machinery and equipment or approach their operators when in use.

    • Keep dogs leashed at all times and do not bring them into the barnyard, pastures, or growing areas.

    • Wash your hands after all activities on the farm. 

    • Refrain from smoking or vaping–both are prohibited on the property.

  • Dress for a day outdoors and wear comfortable walking shoes. Accessible restrooms and water fountains are located in the Silo Lobby. Start your day inside the Orientation Center for helpful visitor information.

  • Children and families are welcome on campus. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult guardian. Young adults ages 12 and up require tickets to participate in programming.

  • Accessible seating is available in the Cafeteria and accessible restrooms are located in the Silo Lobby. Due to its varied topography, portions of the farm may be inaccessible. For questions or assistance with your visit, please contact us here.

  • Stone Barns can accomodate corporate meetings, outings, and retreats for up to 260 guests on our campus. All events are coordinated through our partner restaurant, Blue Hill; please email their events team for more information.

POLICiES

  • Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and are not permitted inside the Cafeteria or in any growing spaces, including the fields, pastures, Barnyard, or Greenhouse. Please note that you may not have a dog with you while participating in any of our programs.

  • Upon entering the property, you grant to Stone Barns Center and its employees, agents and assignees the right to photograph you and your dependent(s) for use in Stone Barns Center print, electronic, and digital publications. Visitors are welcome to take photographs of Stone Barns Center for personal, noncommercial use. We encourage you to share your photos and tag us @stonebarns on Instagram. Please have in mind that Stone Barns Center often features the creative works of others, and this limited consent does not extend to works not owned by us.

    Drone photography or filming is never permitted without the advance, written consent of Stone Barns Center.

    PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY

    Professional photography shoots (e.g., personal, engagement, family portraits) may be scheduled by members at the Cultivator level and above. Shoots must be registered with Stone Barns Center in advance, and the member rate is $500 for a two-hour session. Please submit your request here

    COMMERCIAL SHOOTS

    We permit commercial photography and filming on site according to a strict set of guidelines and location fee. Permission and a location release must be secured in writing in advance. Please review the following guidelines before submitting your request:

    • Partners with mission alignment preferred.

    • Rates depend on the time required for the shoot and the number of cameras and locations. The rate for one camera in one location is $15,000 per day.

    • Filming on Monday and Tuesday is strongly preferred.

    • Commercial film productions will need to work with a site manager approved by Stone Barns Center, at their expense.

    ON-SITE POLICIES

    Anyone taking photographs or videos at Stone Barns Center must comply with all guidelines, rules and policies of Stone Barns Center.

    LIMITATION OF LIABILITY / INDEMNIFICATION

    Stone Barns Center shall not be responsible for any claims arising out of a third party’s photography or videography, or use of the Stone Barns Center for photography or videography purposes pursuant to this Photography Policy. To the fullest extent permitted by law, anyone taking photographs or videos at Stone Barns Center shall indemnify, defend and hold Stone Barns Center harmless for any claims, losses, liabilities or damages arising out of the such activities.

  • All programming is rain or shine and is only cancelled in the case of thunder, lightning, or blizzard. Guests will be notified if a program has been canceled due to inclement weather.

  • All programs and tickets are non-refundable. For any questions, or if you need to reschedule a booking, please contact us.
